Meet & Greet - The Incredibles

This is my 9 year old Son's entry for my Challenge - although he will not be able to win the prize ( as much as he would like to!!) He chose the photos himself. They both enjoyed meeting The Incredibles when we were in WDW and they LOVED the huge inflatable outside the Disney Store in Down Town Disney!!

Meet & Greet - Mary Poppins!!!

This is my example layout for my "Meet & Greet" March Scrapbook Challenge! The highlight of this trip to WDW was meeting Mary Poppins for the 1st time - my boys thouroughly enjoyed it too although my husband couldnt see what all the fuss was about!! We met her firstly at the Grand Floridian Hotel and then later on in the week in "England" in Epcot!! She was just as I imagined her to be with her Carpet Bag and Parrot Umberella!! Mary Poppins is one of my favourite films and I had alot of fun making this layout!

For this layout I chose a simple blue background - it was Cinderella's WDW Solid blue. I chalked around the edges and in the middle as I wanted to give it a feeling of one of Bert's Chalk drawings!! The stickers are EK Success Mary Poppins. I cut out simple cloud shapes from white pearl card and used stickles around the edge for my bit of pixie dust!! Some cotton wool for the chimney smoke.

The hidden journalling is behind the roof tops of London!! I also glittered these too as I love a bit of glitter on my layouts!! I also made some " Mary Poppins Hats" and decorated them with Daisies. I used Disney style font for the journalling like I usually do!!

There is also a hidden Mickey too ( not part of the challenge but thought I would add it in!!) Can you see it??!!!
I am looking forward to seeing your entries - more details of how to enter are on my website and I also have another layout to add later on in the week that my 9 year old son has made this afternoon - he wanted to do the challenge too - although he wont be entered for the prize!

Kathy's - Be Our Guest!

Kathy's Layout was from Disneyland Paris "Rendezvous Des Stars" and this is what Kathy says about her layout:
"It is the day we went to 'Rendezvous des stars' at Disney Studio Park, Paris. We are a family who love pancakes and my daughters couldn't get over unlimited free pancakes as it was an all you can eat buffet. After our meal a 'chef' brought Remy out on a platter to see us! We had a great time. I kept the paper table mat from the restaurant and used it as backing paper. there is a little mickey ears button which I made with shrink plastic n the bottom right corner and three mickey ears in coordinating blue glitter in the other three corners. I have printed the journalling onto blue paper ad cut it out as if it's a speech bubble. "
I love the use of the paper table mat - very creative!! And the fun way that the hidden journalling is presented. You all look like you are having a fab time - my son would love it in there - must remember to go there next time!!
Thanks again Kathy and Good luck x
